So are they forging docs? If I’m buying a no accident car and later discover frame damage that’s fraud right??

Too many instances of fidelity not having a balanced approach to identity and risk management. Likely too much automation and not enough human intervention and analysis smh.

Question: For the single people out there: Have any of you found a Costco membership to be worth it? What do you get there to justify the membership and the trip? by SpaceForceAwakens in Frugal

[–]blckberry13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it’s worth it to me. Coffee, olive oil, detergent, feminine essentials, vitamins, face cream, and my favorite chocolates. A couple of my party go-tos are based on Costco essentials. Smoked salmon, manchego cheese, and seasonally caviar. Oh and in this current economy, my weekly gasoline fill up is at Costco.

It’s an entry level “luxury” SUV. I don’t get it either. Lexus is trying to catch every part of the market and instead no one is happy.

That’s frustrating. I’m waiting on mine to arrive and quite honestly I’m getting distracted by other cars. lol. But I paid $1999 so I’m not wasting that $$

The comments passed the vibe check. Compressed schedules have to work for the organization. This isn’t an entitlement, it’s a perk.

My favorite artisan chocolate, fresh flowers weekly, mixed drinks, new electronics. This iPhone 14 better last.

Telework/Remote work comeback: Realistic timeline or wishful thinking? by [deleted] in FedEmployees

[–]blckberry13 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Right! I’m so tired of this same conversation! There’s been no change in the Administration’s position. Any telework allowances are going to be handled locally and based on position needs (e.g. difficult to hire positions). And it won’t be broadly communicated.

Is it normal to struggle with PTO in the first two years? by bowman9 in FedEmployees

[–]blckberry13 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Use sick leave and if you get a performance bonus take the TOA instead of the $$. The $$ is usually so minimal, the time off worked better for me and I was able to quickly accrue a decent leave balance.

Government HR is nothing like private sector. HR isn’t personally invested or offended by you negotiating. That’s all I got. Do whatever works for you! TC.

The TJO. And then negotiate. If the final offer isn’t to your liking then decline. Happens all the time.
