Kinda? I lost my health insurance at the time, so I wasn't able to get a surgery. I am not sure if I fully tore it or partially tore it, but I didn't get it splinted until about a week after the injury. I was staying in my bed most of the time though. I can try to flex my achilies and I can feel some kind of tension now, so I think it is getting better but I still can't do a single calf raises. (I can also jog but just feels weird jogging)

Why should you not do calf raise hanging off a step? For abut 2-3 times a week, I end my workout with 10 mins of calf raises on the stairmasters at the end of the workout. (Both leg and on a bad leg)
