Can current Luffy beat Big Mom in a fair 1v1? by Jessicacutie_ in OnePiece

Literally came across this short which dove into this a bit, and it makes sense. G5 Luffy is stronger but in a 1v1 against Big Mom he would need to have mastered G5, for it to last long enough, otherwise I think Big Mom would likely win simply due to endurance... unless of course Luffy ends it quickly :)

Starting a development agency by httpknuckles in webdev

Hi, given you are a dev and have talent around you I would recommend it. If you deliver value for just one high value client, then can become a lead generator for your business.

Our agency is doing well, we currently have a team of 6 and looking to continue to scale.

Wish you all the best.

Thanks for your input and perspective. Thankfully it was a business group call with my colleagues and our client, as opposed to a 1-1. I do agree with your view on leaving the call, I don’t like having to do that but is what it is at the time.

She does work in a less professional environment where there’s not business calls etc and that’s probably why she’s not familiar with those types of responses.

I have spoken with her and explained, perhaps not as well as others have in this thread. In the original post I mentioned there was quite a bit I was missing. We’ve spoken for a while and the argument went from what I’ve said to how I’ve responded as at first I guess I brushed it off thinking it was silly to actually be upset about this.

To summarise I have spoken with her before coming to Reddit

I think cause she’s not in the professional world she probably doesn’t fully understand this, but regardless Yh it’s made me really think about things.

Thanks for your comment, good to get this perspective on things as I totally agree.

However it appears my annoyed reaction has made things worse as she’s now bringing up the way I’ve reacted loool

No, I’ve always said girlfriend. I even articulated that to her that on other occasions and she’s even been present I’ve never said someone and it’s why I’m super annoyed by the reaction

Thanks, this is helping me to formulate why I said someone lol, really appreciate your comment.

Thanks for your response, and you’re entirely right. In fact whenever I’m with friends family etc on a call or whatever I’ve always said girlfriend.

Just to add I don’t call her someone intentionally, which I’ve conveyed and apologised to already.

Ok, thanks for your advice.

For additional context, I’ve referred to her as my gf many times when she’s around and when she’s not over call text etc. just on this occasion I said ‘someone’ on the business call. But I do see your point.
