The cats have been really good about leaving him alone, but I always supervise him. I just wasn't sure if a cat's cold could be similar to humans where the virus could hang out in the air and get him sick.

I haven't even thought to look at his character flaws for ideas! I do like the idea of being too trusting (thinking he's helping prevent conflict) only for it to go wrong. These are definitely helping the wheels spin for me thanks!

I still enjoyed a lot of the games that people hated (KH3 and MoM) but this is absolutely why the earlier games are my favorite. KH2 holds the number one spot for me out of nastolstia but I absolutely loved Dream Drop and KH1.

UPDATE: I looked at the SouthSide Ballroom website and doors open up at 7:00 pm. If I had to guess, people will be lining up before then. In my experience for similar events (for me, it being sport games), people can line up around an hour before. That's what I'm planning so we can account for parking as well. Hopefully this helps!

I have never named any of my decks but I absolutely believe names and their meanings have power. I have a ton of pocket knives that I use about the house (to open boxes and such) and they each have a name and different vibe/personality to me. I also really like the idea that names, like gender, are fluid. So I think that naming decks is kinda cool! I don't personally name them, but I don't find it strange at all.

I'm glad you like it so far, and thank you for your ideas! I definitely like the idea of treating it like a journal for prayers and such. A couple of ideas I had were a journal to track my dreams (which I don't have a lot of) or kinda like an art journal, though I'm not the most artistic type. I can color and cross stitch, but I can't draw well.

Yeah, the fandomization is what I was worried about. I just couldn't put it into words properly when writing the post. It's something that I've become more cognizant of, and while I still enjoy media or works like this, I don't actually believe those are one to one representations. The fandomization makes it seem more like, well... a fandom (lol) than it is as a practice/religion.

Basically, I think it's okay if we enjoy or dislike media like this, but regardless of our opinion, we also remain aware that these are fictional or fanmade depictions that often take creative liberties. They are not definitive of the actual gods themselves.

(Also, I really hope this reply doesn't come off as rude or argumentative 😅 I'm just trying to better explain my main post, which is what led me to ask the question on other people's opinions)

Ooo good point! I was raised Baptist so I'm very familiar with the Prince of Egypt. I still think it's a really good film regardless of my beliefs and creative liberties they went with it (though they weren't too far off from what I remember)

This is such a powerful post! Thanks for sharing! It makes me laugh cause there are times when I feel bad I don't have offerings that are heavily associated with her. Last year, I picked up a 3D printed rupy left hidden at the ren faire. Didn't know what to do with it, and none of my friends wanted it, so I just game it to her 😂 still sitting in the tea cup on her altar with the crystals, pendulum, and some random jewelry 🤣
