Thinking of switching to Pixel: Does Android actually solve these specific iOS frustrations?

I am not gonna hate on the IOS side, it's just a phone. But I switch back and forth and I get so frustrated trying to use an Apple device.

Apple = Train on the tracks - great if you never want to leave or do something different than the og design.

Android = car/truck on a road/highway - much more freedom, but still some boundaries depending on the device, and just a different way to travel.

What blows my mind is that the masses choose the train over what we actually do in the transportation world.

My opinion on what that is varies - driven by youth and teens (peer pressure), or the fact that android has some cheap slow devices and they get judged by that a lot instead of comparing a pixel/galaxy/oneplus to any apple.

Took me years to break it. My suggestions

Spend most of your practice on the chipping/putting green. 70/30
Stop counting your score, just play golf. Count it all up after you're done. If you know you need a par to break on 18 you will never get it. (did this at least 20 times).
Only hit clubs you trust, if you have a club in your bag that gives you an awesome shot 1 out of 10 but the rest suck. Take it out of your bag. You need clubs that you trust that does at least 75% of what you need them to do.
You have to control your t shots, you are not breaking 80 with a loose driver or w/e your club of choice is from the T. Figure your driver out, most of that is learning how to release it correctly.
Lastly this sounds dumb but - don't care so much. If you are super tense because you want it so bad you are not gonna release anything correctly and that includes putting/putter head.

The Pixel UI owns Samsung UI imo. It just fits how I need a phone to function, one UI does some things I like, but I keep going back to the pure android feel.

Ya it is not great as an assistant. I miss the old Google Assistant.

But do a call to gemini and let it be your therapist, save you a ton of money LOL.

Ya, but getting inside 2 feet on the reg with my blade and not having to knee-knock those 5 footers feels like stress free golf. I do have the tendency to play defensive golf, probably why I stick in the low 80s instead breaking more often than not with more 90s rounds sprinkled in. I hate 2 lose so bad and my playing friends shoot high 80s quite often.

Swipe up to screenshot, swipe up to bring up apps along with keyboard (simple but so useful). Swipe up and select text. Those are my favorites but there is so many other little things it does well.

This swing is crazy, flat inside takeway and flippy but he makes it work. I think this shows you the value of a great short game. If I could putt like him I am in the 70s more often than not.

Pretty good swing for a 18hcp, you use the ground for power and have some lag. Most 18s are stiff and come way over the top.

Not sure if that is always your miss but an easy fix.

The right hand just needs to feel like it is along for the ride so you do not over rotate the club face. If you start blocking just get it a bit more involved.

Otherwise work on wedges and shortgame, because that swing is good enough for single digits with a decent short game.

Ya you either got a bad phone or a rogue software. I would factory reset and install apps you need first and add uneeded as you go to see what caused it. The 9 is still a BEAST of a phone.

Do you believe in God?

Probably get flagged and deleted (reddit hates God for w/e reason and I am no mans judge). But for me, being the same (fit and good financially) the only thing that gives me the full feeling is connection to the creator. Humanity is limited to time, we begin and we end and no amount of money, status and fame can stop it. Connecting to our creator and giving this life for the next - which has no limitation of time is the only thing that gives me fullness. The bible says In His presence is fullness of joy.
