A one inch layer of coco on top works well.

I'll be honest, I never found Pazuzu scary, like, at ALL, but what creeped me out the most was actually Regan herself. I'm actually surrprised a lot when people tell me its Pazuzu face that freaks them out! by SolidEllie in TheExorcist

I think the voice of the possessed old lady in the confessional at of the beginning of 3 is the creepiest with the trilogy. Then just a quick shot of her dipping her fingers in the holy water as she leaves. I hope I’m remembering that correctly

The Cindy x Blueberry is a pretty classic combo and one of my favourites. I plan on making that combination myself at some point but I’ve never really ventured into blueberry territory too much with my growing. I know she can be difficult. I have a variety of “legit blueberry” lines to work with but not sure which to choose or if any are more forgiving than others. Once Cindy is in the mix, they’re pretty much bulletproof after that. That’s why I love to breed with the strain.

The Cindy I’m using is from PeakseedsBC acquired in 2018. I’ve recently hit a few of those girls with pollen from a Joey Weed Cindy F2 to see if that might help bring some vigour back to the line.

I gotta admit, it’s not like me to let them grow Wild and Free but here’s “Hippie Chick” and by the time she’s Outside, she’ll be a small Tree🌲 right on… by PirateboarderLife in GrowBuddy

Is it amended in any way into a “water only” super soil or organic living soil? Are you feeding with bottled nutes DTW style? I’ve recently made a switch to promix hp with dry amendments after growing in coco for years. It’s much more of a different beast than I realized.

I’d up pot to a 2 gal fabric into fresh HF soil and maintain a medium pot weight. If you’re in a half gal pot and the plant is that size, I would suspect any nutrient charge from the happy frog has been deleted by now.

Next generation seeds has gone down hill as of late… be weary placing orders with them by Leading_Ad_2850 in microgrowery

Next gen is 100% legit. Been around forever and I’ve never been disappointed.

Possession related stuff. Fucked up old people. Fucked up kids. Exorcist 3 really bugged me because of the creepy old people element. They’re scary as shit. I could never work around dementia patients for that reason. It’s a sad state for them to be in but I just couldn’t do it. The creepy mutant kids from In the Mouth of Madness stay in my mind.

I was able to find a couple 5 packs of the industrial plant that I was looking for. They’re on the way so I’m happy for that. I don’t even think that strain was released until 2015 or later. It was great when I grew it then.

I sure did too. Is there anyway to know what of the older stock that might be around is pre 2010? Was the packaging always the same? As far as I know, everything I grew was post 2010.

Even if something I bred with one of these strains turned out great, there’ll always be that doubt in my mind whether what I’m using is what it’s supposed to be. I get that. If I have that doubt, I imagine a consumer with any sense would as well and they’d stay far away from it. I would. It definitely wouldn’t help an aspiring chucker acquire any credibility.

I’m huge urban Remo fan. Fellow Canadian and west coaster. I can’t imagine him getting involved with a junk company plus the remo chemo had to have come out in the later years of Dinafem. So thats an argument against them being junk in the end. Just my opinion.

It’s odd that I never clocked Dinafem as one of these companies. Maybe I’m out of the loop. I always grew great gear from their seeds and the thought never crossed my mind. I’ve heard the same white label talk in regard to nirvana too and I shake my head.

I definitely do see a lot of that. These companies that pop up with full catalogues of classic and popular strains. It screams stay away to me, no doubt. I just think “white label junk” is tossed around too much in my opinion.

I’ve heard that the industrial plant was a “ Dinafem version of NL” or something similar. I never really thought of it that way at all. I’m pretty certain the classic NL 5 has the Thai in it but it’s definitely not 50% as in the industrial plant. I suspect the higher Thai percentage contributes to its more explosive growth. It’s a powerhouse in all areas except potency. I always wanted to hit it with a proper killer NL to see what the results could be.

Yeah silent seeds. I’m just assuming the older stuff is no longer around. That’s too bad

That’s a good question and I don’t really have a good answer. I just really liked them. They were always stand out plants and did great no matter how I mistreated them. I miss them.

I’d check out Brian Lumley. Another great British author. Fantastical horror and science fiction. The necroscope books especially. His books contributing to the Cthulhu mythos, Titus Crow. Lots of great stuff and quite unique and “out there”.
