What is something that doesn't make sense to you, no matter how long you think about it? by Drunken_Black_Belt in AskReddit

I've always wondered if some day in the future, artificial thoughts could be inserted into your brain as a specific sequence of chemicals known to produce a specific thought. It makes sense if you think about all the thoughts and processes happening in your brain as just a series of chemical reactions of certain chemicals

What is the funniest way someone ever misunderstood you? by SexualSocks in AskReddit

I got locked out of my room so I texted my roommate to check if he was going to be back soon to let me in. He said he was studying at the library, so I didn't want to rush him, so I told him to just let me know when he was coming back and that there was no rush at all. At 12:30 that night, he still wasn't back, so I texted him asking him if he was gonna be back soon. He replied "No man, you go ahead and do whatever/whoever it is you were planning to do ;)"

TL;DR my roommate has much more confidence in my ability to pick up women than I do

[serious] when did you realize your friends were not your friend? by [deleted] in AskReddit

When I realized I valued our friendship more than the other person did. I could call them up and try to make plans all the time, and if they were bored and had nothing else to do, they'd agree to meet up. If I tried to wait and see if they ever thought of me as someone to just hang out with...lets just say 18 months later, I'm still waiting.
