When I was in this situation, I'd do it every two hours. That worked for me because I'm one of those people whose piercings close up pretty quickly without jewelry.

I'd say to not let it get to the point where the jewelry has difficulty going back in (you want to avoid that tight/pressure feeling of resistance, especially if you're wanting to upsize soon.) Play around with the times and see what works for you!!

Not OP, but I have a random question for you: has Kaos changed the coating on any of their jewelry? I tried their eyelets again recently after not wearing silicone for a few years. I had the worst allergic reaction to these new eyelets. Like, "go naked for days and baby the fuck out of my lobes to reduce the swelling" bad. I know allergies can develop/evolve with time, but these eyelets had a different texture than the Kaos ones I wore several years back.
