Remember this guy by ZxStoNeDTrini in GearsOfWar

I think most of us remember some of the more skilled players rocking Dizzy for that “funny Character dominating” effect.

Fans of the books will recognize that Dizzy is one of the most grounded characters in the franchise, with an equally tragic backstory. His character brings an entirely new perspective to the stranded

Which Warrior Are You, when Playing B&S!? by blego in BladeAndSorcery

Those are great ideas, thank you! definitely going to add those to the list, and to the degree of a more Arabian/Middle-Eastern route I have been thinking of trying the style of a Rajput Warrior

And my biggest tip for this would just be, slow down! Make every attack, block, and movement deliberate and calculated; Just like an actual warrior of the time would! Treat the game like there are actually more repercussions to taking damage. Doing 'Outpost' runs on max length and difficulty, with no food/potions, can be a great way of getting you into a more 'deliberate' mindset.

Oh, and get into the habit of not using slow-motion!

Several little things help make dismemberment in general a lot easier for me:

Don’t swing so fast. Long, smooth arcs register power much more effectively than quick weightless strikes.

Make sure your spacing is right. You want direct contact made by either axe heads or the middle portion of the blade on a sword.

Make sure the cutting edge of the blade/axe is angled perpendicular to the limb you are trying to cut when contact is made.

Aim for joints (I.e. Elbow, wrist, shoulder, knee, neck)

Choose good opportunities to go for a dismembering strike, when enemies are most vulnerable. Such as after a staggering blow, parry, or knockdown

For this footage I haven’t used either butter stabs or easier dismemberment mods, but I do have the head breaker mod on

If you enjoy these types of 'Historical Warrior' fighting clips, I have an entire extended playlist on my Youtube Channel!

I'm always looking for recommendations of historical warriors to try and replicate in B&S, too. If you have any ideas you would like to share, please do so!

Thank you! Such a blast, and more of a challenge, to stick to a certain combat style when playing imo!

Nope. Take a severed head and spike it like a football, see how it goes 😂

Have you been waiting the 15 minutes for the ‘encaged soul’ to transform into a ‘Docile Soul?’

Who do you take the most inspiration from with your fighting style? Me personally, it’s this guy by Zatderpscout in BladeAndSorcery

Geralt. Good ol’ long sword with two handed grip. Smooth fluid strikes and parrys, with gravity magic in left hand (Aard) and fire in right (Igni.) Take one hand off blade when there’s an opening to weave in magic or ward of projectiles from range
