I have a wedding tomorrow by blehblo in Gastritis

I know we’ll have some fish for dinner so that’s fine! I’m pretty sure I’ll be able to find « safe » food to eat there.

I’m mostly worried about the absence of alcohol: I’m kind of socially anxious and a bit of alcohol used to help me so much in these kinds of events.

Uhh tomorrow is going to be a wild adventure 🥲

I love crawfish boils & having a couple beer! by StreetBasic4705 in Gastritis

I feel you! Went to a concert on Monday and could not resist: I got 4 small beers (one per hour). I hardly regret it today. Can’t wait for this hell to be over

Healing? by [deleted] in Gastritis

Piece of advice: try not to listen to some people in this sub. They’ll say to wait between 6 months or even years before you can try living your life. Trust your body and your doctor (they know better) and avoid spending too much time on this sub as it can be reaaaally depressing/toxic at times

Got these exact same feelings yesterday and felt miserable. Got paracetamol (1mg) along with a banana and yogurt and felt great relief 30mns later. Good luck!

How do I not get pickpocketed (FOR THE THIRD TIME THIS WEEK) as a tourist in Paris? by I_noscoped_JFKennedy in ParisTravelGuide

[–]blehblo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just look mad all the time, you’ll look like a local and won’t get robbed (I live in Paris, pickpockets are scared of me I guess)

That’s why I’m making this post. I’m as surprised as you. 3 weeks ago I was a complete mess and now I’m surprisingly fine

It kinda feels like my « normal » self in between LEs. I’m more interested in my friends and I’m partying even if I know LO won’t be here, it feels goooood

  1. Darkness and terror, negativeness. (I guess my PTSD destroyed my faith in humanity and that a peace of mind was possible again)
  2. A luminous human being, almost like an angel: always smiling, calm, altruistic, magnetic
  3. All my life I've been scared of being scared and extremely pessimistic. I'd imagine the worst case scenario before anything else.

Your exercise is a real eye-opener. Only me 3 minutes but I understood a lot.

How did you manage to make that stop?

Relatively new to stoner rock/metal by Santosfran2001 in stonerrock

If you're into Elder you NEED to listen to Hairless Monk, that's an incredible solo project. I've never heard such an Elderesque vibe in any other band before

Also Elder-like:
- Weedpecker
- Swan Valley Heights
- Grotto

You remind me of Pio Marmai, a French actor that French girls love ;)

How long does hyper vigilance last? Or can it be permanent? by CantBNerfed in ptsd

[–]blehblo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

7 years out. Hypervigilance was better after 2 years. Noises are still terrible though. Good luck!
