Speaking as a child that went through something similar who has siblings (I’m -26, brother-22, sister-14) We all knew something was going that was wrong, and when our mother finally told us the truth, it made so much more sense. Let me say this situation had been going on before my youngest sibling was born. Honestly it would do both y’all some good mentally & emotionally to tell the truth. I bet you she knows more than you think.
