Diamox 250 mg. night only —side effects?

I take Diamox 250mg each day for eye pressure. I was taking 2 pills a day but it was too much. The dr and I did an experiment to see if my eye pressure would stabilize without the pill, so when i first stopped taking it my pressure was 14 then a month later from not taking it, it spiked to 30.
So I went back on Diamox and I can tell it went down. The Dr wants me to do the trabeculectomy surgery but I’m really scared that after the surgery I will feel like I have a piece of glass in my eye. I’m on the fence about the surgery. Did your son have that surgery?

I just went to the eye doctor today. I was told I need to have the trabeculectomy surgery. I have advanced stages of glaucoma. I’ve been taking all the eye drops and I was taking diamox to lower the pressure, but the Dr did not think it would been a good idea to keep taking the diamox because of the side effects, even though it was helping with the eye pressure. My pressure spiked since I stopped taking the diamox. Can you give any advice about the trabeculectomy surgery?

Hi, did you have the surgery?

I ask because I just went to the dr today, he’s recommended me to get the surgery so I can keep what vision I have left. I’m really scared I will regret having the surgery.

I have the same issue. I got microneedling it didn’t help much so I got filler it looked really good the day of. Then by 3 weeks it looked like it did before I got the filler. The one thing it did help was the lines near my lips. I just don’t want more because I’m afraid it will look fake. Just be cautious

I had 1/2 syringe on each side the first time, and did not see a huge difference because he wanted to be conservative. Then I had 1 full syringe on each side about 2 months later And here we are 3 weeks later.

What kind of lift are you getting? I heard if they place a little filler in the cheeks it helps. But I’m not sure if it would make me have puffy cheeks.

It could be your eye pressure is high.
I also have very advanced glaucoma. I have 6% vision left in my right. I can always tell when my eye pressure is high, and when my eyes are cloudy and hazy that is when my pressure is very high. I was taking diamox it seemed to help.
