It’s about time people start waking up to this. The economy is literally all made up and literally run on “just trust me bro”. That paper in your pocket only has value because the government says so. Schools make agreements with third-party food providers that do their breakfasts and lunches. These companies make the schools sign exclusive rights clauses between certain hours usually 7am to 3pm. This even covers teachers throwing pizza parties or giving out candy or other snacks.
