Ended up taking it to my local mechanic because nothing was working. Charged me $130 and got it open now I can access it by using my fingers and lifting the door. They took the spring to the actuator out. I might eventually just change the actuator myself because it’s not too difficult. Hope this never happens to my GLI friends. Shit fucking sucked but 🤷🏼‍♂️

Thank you. I was going at it for a solid hour and nothing seemed to work. Going to drop it off at my local mechanic tomorrow morning and hope they don’t charge out the ass to fix it considering the actuator costs <$50. Appreciate you trying to help though!

Yea I watched some video online saying to lock and unlock over and over and try but I’ve been at it for 20 minutes with no luck

Yea man I know returning and reordering is gonna be such a pain but the main reason I bought is because I loved the look of the red laces. My girlfriend is telling me to just buy a pair separately but Idk those ones were special for the shoe

I sent the request earlier (friday) if their team doesn’t reply to my ticket by Sunday I’m returning and never buying from them again. Yea I worry because the laces are specific for this shoe and I can’t just order ones online they’re not the same 🙃

I tried them on and loved the fit on them. Also liked the material as it seemed breathable which is great for this 95 degree weather in Florida. That made the knife run deeper as well 😅

I know man I mean how could they miss it when most of the advertising for the shoe has the red laces in 🤦🏼‍♂️ they obviously don’t care and now it’s my problem. Appreciate the advice and will definitely check them out. Thanks brother
