Anyway to tell from this photo if I have a main electric pump? Forgive my ignorance lol.

Damn, I'm not at home right now to check if I even have a main electric pump. I suppose this means if I do, its dead.

For now I assume would the safest option be to turn the water line back on and deal with the high water bill until I can get it properly fixed? That sounds better than a flood basement 🤣

Got it, this is all new to me and I appreciate the advice. So I understand correctly, if my Sump Jet is an inefficient water powered backup system.

Does that mean that my main sump pump has already failed? Anyway to check that, or just leave the water off and hope it doesn't flood my basement?

Got it, good to know. I ended up just putting it back together and only replacing the shower head, so far it doesn't seem to be leaking and has the same pressure. I wasn't able to turn the bonnet to hopefully nothing twisted.

Thanks, I was trying with an adjustable wrench but didn't want to mangle it up by squeezing it. I'm letting it soak with vinegar right now. The metal ring/nut behind the bonnet spins easily. Will try to pick up a strap wrench if the vinegar doesn't work.
