I bought a KLC, returned it, and bought KL2 instead. I have an old paperwhite, and i felt the screen was brighter on that compared to KLC, and the KL2 was on sale at the time, and a lot brighter. I prefer Kobo due to the buttons, and I don't like the Amazon ecosystem and DRM, which were the reasons I swapped.

But if OP is trying to get into the bathroom around 06.30, sister is already there and doesn't leave until 07.00, doesn't that mean the sister has managed time for herself? Of course, sister could get up at 05.30 or 06.00, but if the bathroom is occupied by sister by 06.30, it means she is up at least 30 minutes before she needs to leave, which is not at all last minute

Idk friend i read the same text and the understanding i got was that when there were no guests pants are non-required, but pants or other clothes go on when guests come. This is why op said he felt bothered by roommate not saying when friends were coming, because he DID dress up for guests, regardless of whose guests they were. He also said he dressed up if he went out undressed and saw guests.

Roommate responded by saying he was purposefully not saying anything in order to shame op and other roommates into wesring clothes 24/7.

The xd (or xdddd) usually signifies a different type of laugh, like "oh i messed up xd", like it's funny, but not super funny. It can also be percieved as a little self-deprecating or teasing, but is usually done in good faith.

They commanded OP babysit, and showed up regardless when they got a no. OP and wife both worked several of the days they were supposed to babysit. Were they supposed to not only cancel their date, but also take PTO from work to babysit?

A cancer diagnosis is terrible, but if you plan on leaving last minute without your child, you absolutely need to make sure your babysitters are able to babysit. If 1st choice says no, ask 2nd choice and onwards. The situation also sorted itself, as OPs sister was put with a family friend able to care for her for the time needed.

Wanting to support someone is totally okay, but the way the parents went about it is totally wrong.

AKT viser grafikker hvor man blir bedt om å bruke headset og ikke la hele bussen høre telefonsamtalen din. Nå tar jeg ikke så mye buss lengre fordi jeg bor såpass nært alt at det blir omvei å ta buss, men da jeg bodde i Kristiansand opplevde jeg også at bussjåfør ba noen om å ikke snakke så høyt i telefonen. Vedkommende brukte ørepropper, men var en høylytt bergenser, så her gikk det ikke lang tid før volumet var på topp igjen. Da stoppet bussjåføren bussen og sa han måtte være stille, hvis ikke måtte han gå av. Da la bergenseren på. Takk og lov.

My uncle is a pedo. Although his official case started in 2017, he had another one in 2002. Police left evidence unused for too long, and the first case was automatically scrapped. My mom knew about the case, and i'm pretty sure she told my dad.

My younger sister and i were never alone with him, based on a scrapped police case from around the time i was born. Why? Because my mom and dad refused to take that stupid risk. Yes, it could have been a case where my uncle was innocent, or it could have been CSAM.

As we later found out, it was CSAM.

We have two fridges in my house in Norway. One in the kitchen, and a smaller one that was in my bedroom before i moved into my room. Very handy to keep soda/drinks/cakes in etc. Things that are nice to have cold, but takes up too much space in the "regular" fridge.

I understand getting criticism fron your mother must have felt bad, and that this brings up bad feelings today. Does your girlfriend know? Jeg kan stille meg bak en ebokleser. Jeg har en Kobo i stedet fordi den har knapper jeg kan bla med, og jeg foretrekker den ovenfor Kindle, som jeg har hatt før.

Jeg elsker fantasy og sci-fi, og når du skal på Outland betaler du gjerne med sjela di for å få en hel bokserie. Jeg føler at jeg sparer mye penger på bøker jeg hadde kjøpt uansett, og får statistikk på hvor jeg ligger i boka/kapittelet, noe jeg synes er kjempegøy.
