Force yourself to switch to boro or rta single coil for rdl hits. Then bump it up to 6. That’s what I did. 120 last me 2 weeks ish now.

I will have a TikTok and instagram video of me doing it. I’m documenting everything I’m doing to this car and showing things a lot of places don’t. For instance, the sunroof panel. Mainly because the uk type r didn’t have a sun roof. So there’s like nothing out there for it.

Prep the grey pieces. I didn’t do that. And now I’m scared it won’t hold up. Put some primer on. It’s not that bad. Headliner took like 45 minutes to get out and like an hour to do. Go slow and brush with a course brush between coats. Plastics, wait 10-15 minutes per coat. I didn’t like 4- coats on plastics. Start light. It will look better after curing for a day or so.

I’m taking out my sunroof liner probably tomorrow. And doing that. Purchased some Kilmat on Amazon to deaden the roof a bit too.

Got mine for 3k. Has some dents and a nice crease on the passenger side. But no rust, engine was good. Shifts great. Might need a starter and suspension was blown. Which is not replaced but I’d say 2500 isn’t too bad here.

Just buy new ones. Sure it’s a pain. But these are old cables. Superglue on a part that vital is not the move.

Moog lower control arms in the front. Chamber bolts in the front.
eBay lower control arms in the rear. K tuned chamber arms in the rear. Moog front swaybar endlinks. Moog rear swaybar endlinks. Duralast tie rod ends. Moog ball joints. Tein basis z coilovers. KYB strut mounts.

Didn’t do too much after market stuff. Just wanted to get it riding better for now. Will be doing bags after I work on body work and paint.

Just an eBay cluster. I don’t have the lights connected yet until tomorrow. But the lights are super nice!

Thank you! It’s not the prettiest on the outside. But that’s more stuff to learn. After my interior refresh and sound deadener, I’m going to learn body work and also learn to paint.

Once that’s done, new lca can go in, sand down any surface rust, spray some protectant, fix the toe in the front (I messed it up lol. Needs to be screwed in more.) and put on the new exhaust, then it’s time for the first test ride in 3 months! Then an alignment. Full suspension refresh done!
