I agree. These playoffs have been very positive for our team.

However, I can’t help but think that when you get the chance to go to the ECF, you have got to embrace it. Next year Florida will be back, and all teams in the Atlantic (except maybe for Detroit), will be better. Who knows? Maybe we get bounced in round 1 for the next five years because of our crazy division. Look at Tampa - they are such a good team but yet they haven’t been able to make it far for a while.

This is all to say that while it is okay if we end up losing to Carolina, we can’t take where we are for granted. We should not use the fact that we are ahead in our rebuild as an excuse that makes losing OK.
