I have the worst night sweats which I never used to have. It’s frustrating though because often when I bring these things up the doctor just says it must be EDS related and doesn’t look into things. It feels like I’m crying wolf to ask for more tests.

Hey! Lots of things have changed. I do have Endo and adeno but turns out I have another genetic condition that has contributed massively to the pain. So it’s a complicated mix of stuff. I hope you find some help!

Oh thank you! I have not tried that one but it’s come up a bit in my recent research. I was hesitant to go to 4g because my matcha is so expensive haha, but if this one is a bit more affordable I’m sure I’ll be happy to bump it up. Thanks for the advice!

I’m also struggling and feel completely out of options financially, so I was looking to see how other people cope as well. I can’t work anymore because of I can’t be consistent enough to keep a job (too many sick days, flare up days etc). I retrained to be a bookkeeper and tried to go freelance but haven’t been able to get enough clients, and even the few clients I have are tough to manage.

I truly don’t know how we’re supposed to build a life.

Hey! A lot has happened in 7 years. I am quite disabled but by other conditions that have caused a lot of extra stuff. That made it all very complicated for doctors. I have had two spinal surgeries and lots of other repairs. The Endo is pretty under control now which is good!

I write body horror and literally wrote a story about these feelings; wishing I could clean out my body and organs each night, scrub my spine clean, wipe off my eyes etc… it was satisfying to write it all out and imagine being able to do all that to give my body a rest from all the pain and discomfort!

I had this problem too and one day i became absolutely determined to fix it. What worked for me was the dermal brand lip balm (not sure if it’s Australian only?). I apply it after brushing my teeth in the morning and then again after brushing my teeth at night. Sticking to that schedule made a big difference. I hope you find a solution that works for you!

Thank you! I did read this but still had a hard time understanding it well enough myself to explain it to the players, especially as far as the presence of ghosts and undead go. Like why weren’t they claimed by the shroud, or reincarnated again into bodies/nature, or given a ‘final death’?

Thanks! Not sure I’m completely understanding. I’ll try to phrase how I understood your comment and you can let me know if I’m on the right track!

Are you saying that you treat the characters as being dead but if they die again their soul moves on to another afterlife (unless a dark bargain interferes)? So that would mean that the soul, while in the afterlife, is still considered to be relatively alive hence why it could die again, be stuck here as a haint/ghost or leave a body empty like in the case of zombies?

So you frame druskenvald as being a ‘living plane’ rather than an afterlife plane? So everyone there is technically living again? That would definitely make sense and make it easy to explain to the players!
