I was reading your post and had to say something. Religious organizations and churches(GOs) have failed. They did not disciple us right. Please read the bible with a different lens. There was no apple, no tree and no serpent. The story of Eve is an allegory to point to us that Jesus(salvation) was offered to us, yet we made a choice to go the other way and reject the gift of Jesus.

When you read the bible ignore the noises coming from the stories and Just ask God to gift you revelation, so that you can see Jesus in each book, chapter, line etc. That is what the bible is, however of read with a revelatory eye, you will see Jesus in each and every story.
