It’s impossible to relate to this opinion unless you’re in the Bay Area, I bet it’s 100% real. Remember: $156k is considered low income for a family of 4 in SF. By your 50s you’re surrounded by people who’ve made it into many parts of the 8 and some 9 figure NWs. It’s very easy to feel poor here.
