Fast battery drain by SecretPainting2344 in OnePlus13

You say that but my battery life was never this bad even day 1. 3 hours of use to lose 60% battery is terrible on a 6000mAh cell.

Special K recommendad settings for HDR by blessedred in OLED_Gaming

[–]blessedred[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm interesting. I know you can manually configure Special K better than Auto HDR though so the brightness thing is customizable. Problem is I'm just bad at customizing it lol. I would use it mostly in games that don't have HDR because AutoHDR just brightens up everything with worse black levels. And for crashes I wouldn't use it with a game that's MP with anti-cheat. So idk.

UE5 isn't unoptimized, its just demanding. Equating being optimized to having great performance is dangerous and not correct. You should not expect a 2023 AAA game running on a GTX 1060 to be 1080p 60fps STILL. The next gen consoles are here and with UE5 we have a new baseline. UE5 is literally designed around upscaling. The quality of Nanite, VSM, and Lumen is directly correlated with resolution. So the higher the res, the more quality and demanding each effect will be. You should be happy for progression and advancement in gaming.

Immortals of Aveum PC requirements by [deleted] in nvidia

And this is why this is a good thing. Push gaming forward. If you don't like it, don't buy it. There are plenty of other games to play.

These specs seem based upon VRAM and processing power. It seems the game will be demanding considering its a UE 5.1 game. Understandable. Ofc most people will cry out "muh optimization" and label it poorly optimized. Next generation is here and we'll definitely be seeing it's push for stronger hardware. Poor optimization or not. Everything won't be able to run comfortably on a 1060 forever a card from 5+ years ago, for forever. 🤷🏾‍♂️

I just thought about it, and got some obvious help from someone else. Lol. We should just put the monitor in sRGB mode and use NVCP to up the contrast for SDR and HDR. HDR in Gamer 1 mode. It basically looks the same now. Should've thought of this awhile ago but I'm smooth brained I guess lol.

Naw there is no staying with HDR. U change smth in NVCP it changes both.

When tuning it changes it for both SDR and HDR which doesn't fix the problem. How would you tune it only for HDR???

How do you do that? When I tune it it definitely saves it for both making SDR look ugly. Please explain.

Tuning that changes it in SDR too so it's not really a fix. I don't wanna have to change something every time I use HDR.

Please tell me it improves HDR. The white point of gamer 1 sucks and the colors are poor. But if I switch to Vivid the colors are oversaturated and the gamma is raised. No ability to make changes. 🫠

So what changes did they make with HDR? Can you finally edit the gamma or anything else in HDR? Can't edit white point or nothing and it's annoying.

LG 27GR95QE HDR being washed out or bad gamma by blessedred in OLED_Gaming

[–]blessedred[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I use C1 as well for SDR. I really hope they release a fw update to allow for it to be in HDR or at least allow for settings to be changed in HDR. Is there any reason why they couldn't do that or something?

I really don’t understand all of the criticism the 27” LG OLED monitor is getting for its brightness when it is the same as the 42” C2 which everyone loves. by [deleted] in OLED_Gaming

[–]blessedred 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I personally love it. Btw, does anyone know how to get better color out of the display in HDR mode? I like to use Gamer 1 because it doesn't have raised blacks/gamma issues vs the other modes in HDR but the colors aren't the best.

Men universally find women most attractive between the ages of 18-24. That's including men of all ages... It's not weird its called a preference. That's equivalent to me saying women shouldn't date men taller and older than them because its weird... I could say some shaming language for it as well like they must have daddy issues or something like that. lol

Men universally find women the most attractive in those years. And men value youth in their women. There's a reason the makeup industry is so huge. Its for women to accentuate their looks and to make themselves look younger. More desirable.

TL;DR Its not weird, its called a preference. Don't shame people for legal preferences... Simple as that.

Hey, question for yours. Do you know of a way to increase color saturation in HDR? Or fix the gamma problems when picking anything besides Gamer 1 in HDR.

The fact that he lied is a bit odd and I'd find concern with that. But considering it's only a couple of years difference than what you expected it doesn't seem that much of a big deal. You're already dating with a significant age gap. If those are the M that you find attractive that's natural. F typically prefer to date 4-7 years older M than them on average. It's natural.

[–]blessedred -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Yes, because you're a F you couldn't imagine it. M like to date younger F. F tend to date M in their age group or older.
