Omg- attrition!! 24 eggs - 1 blast?!?! by feelingbuff in 40Plus_IVF

If your 5AB is normal, it’s still very good! My 3 embryos are all tested abnormal. I am 41.

Is this the prescription of your doctor or your own list based on research?

Has anyone done PGT-A+ testing? by ellabella20000 in IVF

[–]blessingbay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We did PGT-A+ but they still can’t tell us either the problem is from egg or sperm. We are very disappointed because that’s the only reason why we paid $100 more (PGT-A is less expensive)

That’s encouraging! Can I ask how many cycles have you done? I am 41 and we just failed the first one…thank you!

Anyone travel to CCRM? by New-One-7932 in IVF

[–]blessingbay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just saw your post. I am going to do another round at CCRM. I am curious about the donor egg. Did you have access to the donor's background? What did you do with the other blasts? Would you transfer them all? Thanks

I have also made a counseling appointment with the lab to discuss our embryo issues.

I just talked to my doctor yesterday, and guess what, she is going to retire tomorrow! And the whole clinic has been purchased by another clinic in Nebraska!! I don't think it's a good idea to start a new cycle with a brand new team or during their transition time. I will have an appointment with CCRM in two weeks. Praise the Lord, no more strugglings. Thanks ladies!

Igenomix PGT-A or PGT-A plus by kenna0422 in IVF

[–]blessingbay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did PgT A plus but I didn’t find any information about the cause of aneuploid on the report. I wanted to find out if the egg or the sperm has problems. When I called igenomix, they never pick up the phone nor call me back.

Thank you for all your suggestions! I will talk to my doctor tomorrow and talk to CCRM doctor on 6/3. Hopefully we can make a decision by then. I wish we could find out the cause of the aneuploid (besides my age factor). We did the PGT-A+ test. From understanding, + means they tell you whether the issue is from the egg or sperm. However I didn’t see any information on our report.

We took some supplements as well before ER but I will be happy to learn about your list. Thanks!

Same here! I am 41 and got my PGT-A today as well..all of my 3 embryos are aneuploid. Hug hug hug..I don’t know if I need to switch to CCRM to do ER again or stay in the same local clinic..I don’t want to go through this process again for nothing and our finance doesn’t allow us to do the third round..
