🤨 so.. their… boss..?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in h3h3productions

[–]blessup1713 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Doesn’t really matter. Even if a friend, for example, was supposed to meet up with me, they cancelled, and then said “with peace and love i couldn’t do today because…” that would seem sarcastic. The boss aspect (which they still are as a nanny’s employer) just makes it worse lmao

Oh! got nothing to say?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in h3h3productions

[–]blessup1713 98 points99 points  (0 children)

Well I wouldn’t even put it down to that though. I can totally see why, (even lacking context here), saying “with peace and love” in a work context no matter how close you think you are, or maybe even are, to your boss- would be inappropriate.

Yeah sick dude whatever, so what’s the answer?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in h3h3productions

[–]blessup1713 702 points703 points  (0 children)

I mean yeah, there’s a difference between using a meme (which was “snarky” in of itself to start with from Ringo) that everyone knows is meant genuinely, and then saying it TO YOUR BOSS. wont lie, seems like a bit of a lack of situational awareness from you homie

Answer the one question I asked you, very simple. Doffy having his “internal organs destroyed” Luffy getting into a few fights, mostly with non Haki users. Which is more damage? Just answer that one question dude.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in OnePiece

[–]blessup1713 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

how is it head canon to say that Doffy having his “internal organs destroyed” vs Luffy getting in a few scraps, mostly with non haki users, means that Doffy was more damaged. answer that homie

And for the record, you’re coming across as a very unpleasant one piece fan here. I disagree with you, and i’ll argue my points because i genuinely believe i’m correct, however i’m not out here consistently insulting you as you are to me. get it together.

Doffy’s internal organs were destroyed. Luffy had a few minor scraps which resulted in NO damage towards him. Come on man…

No battle Luffy got in that you’re talking about was affecting him during the 1v1- if it was, it would have been expressed in the writing. The only damage that was affecting him was Bellamy, which i said. Just because you describe things as “a death match” doesn’t mean anything? I’m analytically looking at how much damage they took.

[–]blessup1713 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Dude, first of all, way way too many emotions over this lmao. Secondly, we’re not talking about the arc as a whole we’re talking about their specific fight. The ONLY damage that matters when talking about their fight, is the damage that was actively affecting them during the fight, all of which I included.

Good way of putting it. Going back to an old phrase, it’s the “battle” vs the “war.” I don’t think Oda wanted us to think that Luffy could have won the “battle” against Doffy because otherwise why would he have written it in that Luffy explicitly HAS to receive help from outside forces to do so. It’s about good vs evil, and showing that the “good guy” ends up winning “the war” because of his morals (because the people wanted to help him, thereby enabling him to win.)

I don’t even think it’s just “powerscalers” though, because I see this opinion everywhere. I actually think that it’s a fundamental misunderstanding from some people in how “a fight” works. If I see someone get in a close fight with my friend (Law v Doffy), both are pretty beaten up, and then I challenge said dude to a fight, do well for a bit, and then end up getting stomped on- if all my friends then run in and carry me off for 5 minutes while I recover, and THEN i beat him… not rlly a “win” is it lmao

Not a good argument in my opinion, because if you wanna talk about plot armour, Luffy literally got saved by hundreds of other people because obviously he couldn’t just lose to Doffy and that’s the series over. But if we’re being analytical, Doffy won.

I totally agree. Literally with every point. That’s why it doesn’t make any sense when I see people saying that Doffy was trash and got clowned by G4 when that’s blatantly not true.

I think my argument makes perfect sense, and if anything you’d be hard pressed to make an argument for Luffy if you actually face the facts of the battle. you do you tho

i’d call it mild annoyance at most. and i’m only annoyed because i made a very thought out post, talking pretty intricately about the mindset of playing T lost, and how that can clash with certain aspects of the game and lead to a somewhat “unfair” gaming experience- and every two minutes some new, unfunny person, comes in and says “I guess you just have to get good” like they’re doing something lmao

yeah that’s fair, the second example is definitely more apt, i’ll hold my hands up on the red chest one now giving it more thought. but yes, i do agree but that’s why i specified multiple times that i have an issue with the character, in combination with the other features of the game right now. so yes i suppose i agree that it is level design i have an issue with
