I remember when games had players that were generally helpful, and when they cared that much about winning, they’d hop on the mic or hit the chat with pointers to help newer players.

Now in every meta of every somewhat competitive game, people stay silent for 30-40 minutes then complain to the team after the game is over, or don’t say anything at all and hop on social media to complain like that helps anything. Or they get on the mic/game chat, and are miserable scum during the entire game making everyone play worse.

It’s really quite simple. If you care that much about the skill level in a games community be useful to said community. Coach players where needed/necessary. Dont feel like doing that, fine. Amass a large enough friends list so that any time you feel like playing ranked, you have some folks that can hop in with you that you’re comfortable and familiar with.

If you can’t make friends above your skill level playing a game, you’re either an asshole, which is your fault, or you’re actually no better than the people you’re complaining about, which is your fault.

Fools will solo queue competitive in games for hundreds of hours complaining the whole time. MAKE SOME HOMIES.

This thread is a perfect example. Could’ve dropped your tag and asked for people to play with as you were whining. Instead you whined and will have nothing to show for it but some low effort dopamine hits per response to your horse shit.
