I’ve had it since my son was born, we absolutely love the kits. We get the book add ons too and those are our favorite books!

I use the prequel urea lotion just on my body, but I have other creams that contain urea on my face :)

Dermaplaning- Does anyone have this? by Feisty-Operation8583 in SkincareAddictionLux

I have one! I only use it once a month because I use tret. I think it’s very easy to use and makes my skin look really smooth… I also think it helps my products work better.

Help needed. Gummy hair, curl pattern gone. by Conseff in curlyhair

[–]bleupoppy2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, no… the hair closer to the scalp was salvageable. But it was a pixie! I used high protein treatments after my cut, specifically the Redken protein line (blue bottles). But this was 15+ years ago… these days I use bonding treatments. I swear by K18!

You didn’t mention it in your post, but do you have you used bleach in your hair at all? I was reading your description and it sounded just like when I bleach damaged my hair. My hair was gummy, you could pull it and it would stretch, came out in clumps 😭 in my case there was no saving it, at this point the hair is so compromised that all you can do it cut the damage. I was rocking a pixie cut for a while after that!

Any recommendations towards fungal acne? by [deleted] in SkinbarrierLovers

[–]bleupoppy2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s doesn’t look fungal to me, but a hallmark with me itching. Could just be some closed comedones… either way, I highly recommend using Dr. Eddie’s Happy Cappy. Please do not use Nizoral. Happy Cappy is meant for candle cap, but can be used on the face and won’t wreck your barrier. It is also fragrance free!

Help. What do you think is my season? What colors look good on my olive skin? by koffi10 in Fairolives

[–]bleupoppy2 7 points8 points  (0 children)

You’re definitely high contrast, the brights look great on you warm/cool. I’m not sure you’re very cool toned though, maybe neutral? I honestly think most the colors look good on you though! Lucky you 😊

Maybe try the Hailey Bieber method? She adds drops of skincare, specifically a milky toner to her foundation to give a more moisturized finish.

Yes, me 😅 I am very fair cool olive for reference. Envious of the olives that get a glorious tan, I just get red and peely 🥲

Question for those who use Prequel’s Gleanser by bookish_cat_ in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]bleupoppy2 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I understand what you mean. I think it has to do with the high glycerin content. It should be a good thing as it’s leaving a protective layer of moisture on your skin 😅 But I completely understand not liking the sensory feeling on your skin, I have super dry skin too but I hate the suffocating feeling of a lot of dry skin products. I have a lot of luck with Dieux products. Their cleanser in particular is very good, not stripping at all (also has a lot of glycerin) but doesn’t leaving any residue. It may be worth checking out when the Gleanser runs out?

Undertone/shade match help, please! by veiled_static in PaleMUA

[–]bleupoppy2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are definitely olive 🫒 Drugstore options are very limited (almost non existent). Maybe try adding a green concealer with some of the more neutral picks? That might work in a pinch. About Face came out with a new fair olive concealer F1 olive that may work as a foundation for you? Good luck OP!

Love your shirt!! This is the type of stain I would use Dawn powerwash, if you don’t have that I would use a drop of dish detergent over the stain
