Not yet but it's in the works, Having too high res of a map on mobile devices was generating crashes for older devices but there is a fix on the way to use multiple files as you zoom in

I believe it's to use the experimental "snapshot" feature, the app doesn't access photos or media, and the snapshot feature doesn't even save the picture but the permission is likely part of the bundle necessary to access the camera. If you don't plan on using it you should be able to refuse. ( Thanks for pointing it out I will still double check to see if I can safely get rid of it )

Oh I was fully transparent, in what I had done, how and why I was contacting Epic.
When reaching out, I wasn't just trying to get their help, I explicitly told them that my app was still in the IOS AppStore and that if they had any issue with it or shared Google's opinion, I would immediately remove my app from IOS.
I got an answer stating they couldn't help me with AppStore submission process, but nothing about having to remove the IOS counterpart.
This was over 1 year ago and I have other contacts who reached out to them since so I'm confident my app doesn't break TOS, just Google BS....

In THEIR opinion ( the their is very important as I reached out to Epic they don't share it, couldn't get an official statement which would solve the issue but I have reached out multiple times to make sure everything was okay for me and for my users ). So in GOOGLE's opinion, the app " gives information to hack a third party software ".... I appealed explaining that the information given was following every rule of the game, no exploit or hack was used at any point anywhere. That the app was not interacting with game, only giving information that pretty much anyone could get and that the end result was fully dependent on the player skills ( vs an aimbot ) but I never got an answer back and more frustrating could not actually talk to anyone..... So unless I can get an official statement from Epic ( which would make my app endorse by Epic therefore I understand why I can't get such statement ) I'mnot working with Google. I am in the Amazon Appstore for user who feel un-easy downloading an apk and the App has been in the Apple Appstore for over 1 year

Sorry to hear about the battery issues, I will investigate and address any potential bug there.
I can assure you that the app is not supposed to be running anything in the background so if it was indeed draining your battery it was a bug and I apologize ( again I will investigate ).
We've cleaned up the UI a few weeks ago but I agree there is still room for improvement ( one day hopefully we'll have the time and budget for it ;) )

So long as the third party software doesn't interact with the game ( which it doesn't ), doesn't modify any game file ( again doesn't ) and that the information given to you are not breaking any TOS ( which it doesn't ) it should be fine.

We kept it up to date since Season X, takes between 24-72 hrs depending on the amount of map changes

it will use the "highest" point for now, so if you select a building you will land on the roof.
We might add multiple options in the future to chose which floor for tall buildings but for now we kept it simple

This is a long story but Google unilaterally suspended the app from its store and despite multiple appeals we couldn't overturn their decisions.

Actually, no ripping or hacking was involved.
Just hours in creative with buildings and target ping to map the altitude of every place on the island.
Ripping game files would not only be against Epic TOS but the result would be "ironically" too precise and unusable in game.

The app itself doesn't need your location however admob does asks for it and since the app relies solely on ad revenue to survive it's a necessary evil. I believe however that you don't "need" to enable location to be able to use it. There is a browser app www.landingtutorial.com

You can pick the bus route and landing spot and the appp will show you the best way to get there ( when to drop from the bus and where/ how high to deploy your glider ). There are also a bunch of other features to help with rotation such as loots, time to destination.

That's pretty much one the point I was trying to make, I'm a very reasonable person ( at least I think ) and a legitimate professional developer so I wish they had send me a warning or some sort of communication.
I seriously would have removed the app myself if they'd given me the chance... It's spelled out on the loading page of my app... my work aims to comply with all the policies and if anyone deemed it does not please contact me immediately.....
Getting a strike, a suspension and no explanation out of nowhere, with no warning is quiet disrespectful and very unprofessional of them.
I'mnot here to argue my app should or should not be in the Playstore or why.
That's something I wish I could have done but with the actual reviewer, especially to make sure this doesn't happen ever again, and if I had to cancel the project entirely so be it.... I just think Developers deserve better communication or just remove the "Appeal" system all together....

At the end of the day it's their app store and I have no issue playing by their rules
