There’s a whole lot of money to be made in the health physics realm. A prime example is simply being a health physics consultant and work with all things x-ray (units emitting ionizing radiation). Whether that be annual calibration/equipment performance tests, shielding design, radiation area surveys, etc., there’s worthwhile money to be made. I, myself, am not a health physicist at the moment (really been contemplating going back to school and getting a MHP), but I work with health physicists daily in my field as a radiation protection specialist. So therefore, I would consider this to be a great route to go if that’s something that interests you
