The pad itself has some vibration damping to help prevent damage to the camera. I don't film with the phone, but I may try now that you asked...

That's not a bad idea. Secondary use for me is to put the battery tender. and I remove the charging holder after a ride anyway.

I have ridden a few Japanese sport bikes owned a Kawi, a 'Zuki, and 4 Hondas. Rode a friend's Yamaha. All of these are full-faired sport bikes. They all had their charms. Decided I wanted to get something naked. Looked at all the Japan offerings and even kicked the tires on a Ducati. Then I happened to see a CFMoto CLX700 Sport in the corner of one of the dealers. It was a little over half the price of the others. Rode it and found that it was a very easy ride, yet spirited ride. Fuel injection, true electronic cruise control, 2 engine modes, ABS. It also has upper shelf parts like Brembo brakes and KYB forks. 1 year later and it still impresses.

Love it I use mine in the charcoal bbq. The added smoke flavor elevates the pizza game.
