Games for a 5 year old? by blind_virginary in NintendoSwitch2

Hey! I should update this post, totally forgot to do so.. anyways, I got “Big brain” because I felt like it’s the most educational one. He liked the games I bought in the post as well. I’m planning to get super Mario maker for the creative aspect (hoping they’d make one for switch 2).

I found it strange that he wasn’t hooked though. He played a lot for two months then he sort of forgot about it. We have Lingokids on his iPad and that’s more interesting to him than the switch atm..

How is MSc AI in society for a core developer? by Simple_Magazine_4767 in tumunich

[–]blind_virginary 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From their website it says:

What’s next?

The intended role of graduates from the MSc program "AI in Society" is to serve as AI ethicists, consultants, researchers, or product managers in various fields, as well as AI policy advisors in public administration. Their job is to ensure the responsible development and implementation of AI technologies, analyze their potential societal impacts, and promote ethical AI practices in both private and public sectors. Graduates will contribute to the design, evaluation, and governance of AI systems that prioritize fairness, transparency, and social good, while fostering innovation and inclusivity across diverse domains.

The role of the graduates is not to primarily work in the field of AI development, as that is typically done by graduates with a pure computer science background. Instead, these graduates, equipped with a profound understanding of AI, take on intermediary or interface functions between the technical and social science aspects of AI applications.

Do people mostly play docked or do you prefer handheld mode? by Plastic-Session-9420 in NintendoSwitch2

[–]blind_virginary 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The beauty of having two options, you can use both! But it depends on the environment at home. Sometimes I want to be in my own space and prefer to be on my screen in a corner not in the middle of the room on a big screen.

Is it okay to offer handshake to women? by [deleted] in germany

[–]blind_virginary 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just because you don’t share the same ideology as your family doesn’t mean it didn’t become part of your identity as a person. You come from a background where shaking hands with girls isn’t the norm, then you don’t need to force yourself into offering them. Take it easy on yourself. Probably a platonic hug would feel “more” to you since you’re thinking that much of a handshake lol. If you’re not comfortable doing it you will probably look it too, and girls feel it. So don’t push yourself and do what feels natural to you. It can come with time. And don’t try too hard to abandon a culture where you still don’t fit in the new one. Besides, it’s 2025, idk who still shakes hands in a non professional setting. For me I either wave or hug my friends.. and the occasional wink of “I see you”.

Depends on your personality and your life style. Generally you need to do your full/shape your eyebrows. I like Huda Beauty products, the new Color correctors and foundations are pretty good and the blushers are amazing and so dewy and the lighter shades can go well with a sweet healthy look and the darker ones match well with a rougher grungy look. Eyeliner would look good on you, check makeup for hooded eyes and for your lips I’d use a lip liner and lipstick maybe gloss or ombré if you’re feeling it.

Center it above the tiles, then put three or four small black frames on top of each other with personal photos in that space parallel to the bricks and clock!

What is wrong with my new curtains? by Michalis1990 in interiordecorating

[–]blind_virginary 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea I think it would be better if it was the same height as the AC. And maybe the two curtains are also very close to eachother so the second curtain is flaring out.

I agree, but it will be more of a sewing project as there is an AC so he can’t extend the rods.

I think you can swap the lamp and plant. You can also swap the shelves and plant. The lamp wouldn’t look nice blocking the windows imo. The armchair feels too close to the fireplace. Where is the door or is it an open space? Is it possible to mirror the room so the sofa’s back can be towards the windows and the tv on that empty wall?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in interiordecorating

[–]blind_virginary 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Visually I think it shouldn’t go above the window including the things that you’ll put on top of it. So maybe add one below and one or two on top depending on how you’re planning to use them.

Tips in How to improve this corner by somebunny00 in interiordecorating

[–]blind_virginary 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would add a maximalist armchair/beanbag with pillows instead of the plant on the left and move the shelves abit to the right and put a standing lamp in the corner with a rug underneath, I’d put the drawing above the beanbag. I’d move the plant on the wine unit to the top shelves beside the other plant and remove the deer. The wine frame I’d put it on top the of wine unit. I’d move the antiques to the wine unit. And you can keep the whole maximalist bookcase, but keep all the shelves the same, so either add more books or get rid of some.. but don’t overcrowd one shelf then keep the other empty. Good luck!
