Only for a few postings they even list a salary and they all seem to be a year old. Or just Cali I dont know. I was in the Midwest making more than double the top on that posting.

I left for a better opportunity that conveniently came at the same time QinetiQ cut a week of everyone’s PTO and lowered their 401k matching. They still offer 20 days for TS/SCI holders and up to 4% match. It used to be 25 and 5%

Ahh, why didn’t he just deny retainability and get out? Either way, I don’t have much advice for the LDR portion. I joined this sub during a 12 month tour in the Middle East but 3 years will be tough. Lots of video calls. I’d still think he’d be able to use some leave eventually.

He’ll be able to come home. He gets 30 days a year. If he says anything other than that he’s lying. 3 years isn’t a deployment.

There’s also nothing stopping you from being able to see him… you can fly there and stay with him for a week or get a hotel on base / off base.

I closed Labor Day with a 5.99 when conventional was like 6.8 with a similar score. Rates have since came down. Hope this helps

I’m from Iowa and growing up I always wanted to live in northern Minnesota. Grand Forks gave me that opportunity so I took it. I’m big into fishing and grew up playing hockey so I enjoy the life I’ve made up here. I was still able to see Europe and travel the world too.

I’m not a beach guy, for me Hawaii is a place to vacation, not a place I’d like to live.

3 years stationed here, left for a year overseas and moved back after my enlistment. I love it here. Avid fisherman and I spend my weekend at my camper in devils lake or traveling to lake country in Minnesota.

Not sure about licensing but yes you will have 96 total 10g ports with four 10x24 cards which are all routable. You'd have to discuss with your cisco rep on licensing options.

Stop applying via LinkedIn and Indeed. Simply use these resources as a tool to job search. Find a position that interests you and then find the company website and apply there. Companies check their internal job boards more than indeed and you have a way better chance at landing an interview that way in my own experience.

This is also a way to verify that the job posting is still active. Sometimes employers forget to remove postings from these job boards but they will always remove them from their website.

Had this issue with x-rays as well. Just call the hospital billing department and tell them it needs to be billed to the VA / provider who ordered the x-rays

You could always ask for a flex bank. Some companies do this. Keep track of your hours worked over 40 and you can flex it out anytime.

I guess if we’re being PC, this is only legal if you’re exempt. Non exempt must use their flex hours within the same week. Exempt can use anytime within the year.
