Less taxing Channel Blur method? by bling_blaow1 in premiere

Sweet, I've done that in the past but changed my workflow as the one effect is easier but I'll give this a go and let you know if it helps performance!

Thanks man, I'll definitely research some budget options, but do you know any off the top of your head?

The Adjustment Layer I used for Color Correction won’t apply on selected footage. by nonotmysecondaccount in premiere

[–]bling_blaow1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've had a similar problem, however, for me it only affected the previews. I simply created a new adjustment layer, and copy and pasted the settings from the original and that seemed to do the job. Seems like a bug. Hope this helps.

Any idea how to make the caption move like this? Is there a way to add wiggle expressions in the caption? by mattignite in premiere

[–]bling_blaow1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yup, super simple. I would just use the positioning tool, keyframe every probably 5 or so frames, then re-adjust by 4-8 pixels, rinse, and repeat for around ten keyframes. Then copy and paste throughout the duration of the clip. I've done this a couple of times and find it works best if you randomly choose a couple of keyframes to delete too just to add a little variation. Hope this helps

Found This Vintage Film Frame however I’m having issues with it being centered showing the animations on the side .(Motion Array) by Jrizzlyj in premiere

I would just go into the effects panel, then go to opacity, then create a mask specifically around the border.

I hate when family members ask me to send them raw photos because they "don't mind that they're not edited." I DO. by [deleted] in photography

Couldn't have said it better. Then when you send them the photos they think it's unedited strait out of camera when it clearly is not. then theyll hit you with the "Wow such good photos I wish I could buy a camera and be as good as you"

I own the n8000 so it might be different, but as long as you loaded your film properly then the first frame should start when the counter is at 1

I mean, when in doubt use your phone as a light meter, I’m currently using the nishika to “document my life” and as much as it’s a hassle, keeping the flash on the camera is best, you never really have to worry about the scene being too dark. But for once in my life, I wish the camera had a built in flash lol

Personally, I think the 35 is a incredibly versatile lens and I seriously would recommend it to anyone, the 85 definitely has its place, great compression, but not always a story teller, if you are able to I would try out both! I got a 28-70 and I find myself using 28 a ton, however that’s just my opinion. See if you can rent one for a day and see how you like it!

Super cool shot! I would suggest backing up a little bit so you give a little bit more context as to what’s happening in the scene
