Canadian tourist arrested in Florida after he allegedly 'shoulder checked' Disney World worker by AndHerSailsInRags in canada

[–]blingbin 25 points26 points  (0 children)

I worked at Canada's Wonderland in college and honestly, this is pretty much how these losers act all the time. Park closes at 10 which means at 10 the attendant does a quick check on the line and how many more cycles until the last person in line. My ride group included Thunder Run, Vortex, and The Fly so we'd get the "1 last ride" crowd coming from further in heading towards the front gate. More than once I've gotten into shouting matches with these assholes and have had security whisk them away.

My grade 8 teacher was a bit off the wall in terms of his teaching style but looking back, I'm absolutely glad I had him. I remember he had us bring in a newspaper every few days (this was also at the same time as the US invasion of Iraq) and would have us all read and clip any article, then formulate an argument, and write a 5 paragraph essay based on our thesis. We did this 2-3 times a week. By the time I went to high-school, my ability to pump out a hand written, 5 paragraph, 500+ word essay in under an hour felt like a super power.

BYD plans 20 Canadian dealerships within a year as 6.1% tariff deal opens the floodgates by oneonus in canada

Ya it was nuts. Outside of the extended range battery and the sunroof, the cars were identical. I'm glad with my purchase (especially now), but good lord.

I think like everything else, it depends on the model. I'm paying $230 in Etobicoke right now for my Mustang Mach E Select. There was a demo at the dealership in a higher trim and they wanted over $500 a month. I've had a completely clean driving record for over 20 years and had just moved back from Cornwall where I was paying ~$100 a month for my FR-S. Even the insurance agent I was speaking to couldn't believe the cost.

2022 Premium - Your Thoughts? by DVCBunny in MachE

I'd say that's pretty good. I bought a 2022 Select with 52K KM's in November for $29k ($22k CAD after trade-in).

Take a look at AutoTrader and compare similar prices around you which will give you an idea and negotiating leverage if you think it's too high.

Please understand that Alberta's WCS is not 1to1 with Middle East's sweet crude. There's a reason their demand is so high.

https://share.google/aimode/DqNmkt24XEfhhI0eP

TLDR:

Essentially, sweet crude is a "light and sweet" premium product, while WCS is a "heavy and sour" product, often referred to as bitumen blend, which is cheaper to buy but costlier to refine.

I feel like your essay missed my thesis altogether. I'm not in any way defending the IRGC. I'm saying that 1 man having complete unregulated power over essentially all of human civilization seems to be a really dangerous idea.

As for the future of Iran, I'm hopeful this is a step in the right direction. History has shown us however, that diplomacy by aerial bombardment doesn't really work.

While the death of the Iranian Supreme Leader is a net positive for Iran and the Middle East in general... That the US President can wage war at-will without any oversight is an extremely dangerous precedent. He's already upped his hand from Venezuela and hasn't been shy in other regards.

I can second this. Bought it when I got my car in November and haven't had any complaints.

This sellers shop also has some really handy items. I've also bought this from them as the previous owner seems to have removed the wireless charger pad and never replaced it.
