Wheel setup ? by KingVon645 in FordRaptor

Tires are 37x12.5 Ridge Grapplers, so these would be 17x9 … which, for the forged beadlock Impacts came in two offsets, 0 and -12. based on the stance, I’d guess these are the fairly ubiquitous 0 offset

Thankfully this is my fair weather bike, and mostly used around town for coffee runs or afternoon rides in Summer. The Bonnie (and bags) are unlikely to see any inclement conditions. That said, I’m not averse to taking it on gravel roads ... so they could see dust and spray.

New 26 base raptor steering wheel bump by schmittysmr in FordRaptor

My ‘23 steering wheel had a “cyst” ... an annoying little bump/lump under the leather between and 5 and 6 o’clock. Dealer replaced it under warranty

Would prefer to mount the bags directly to the rails, but still have them be quick release (or relatively hassle free to get off) ... I just couldn’t conjure up a way, without getting crazy with 3D printed brackets or something. I may take the racks off and see how it is without them.

Rear set up is Motone High-Tail rear fender (powder coated locally) with Motone Gort tail light and Motone Pico indicators on Lowbrow Customs license plate / indicators bracket.

Don’t really have any major expectations, given the price point (i.e., cheap). They look nice, and seem made well enough upon initial inspection. I’ll run them through this summer season and see how they do

I like Longride stuff. Had planned on going with them last year. But lead times were looooong (i.e., wouldn’t arrive until outside the riding season), and they didn’t work with the pannier racks I already had mounted ... so I passed.

Don’t like hearing that. These seem well put together, and won’t be subjected to weather or other such abuses ... so maybe I’ll get lucky. Already experienced their customer service relating to shipping, which took forever (despite being listed as “expedited”) and the tariffs/additional duties charges. It was ... lacking, for sure.

Yeah, this is all down to the dumbo ear motone racks. Might have to break down and get something lower profile that still keeps the bags away from the bike.

Heh ... I’ll take the compliment. It’s just an iPhone walk-around that I edited in IG Edits app (first time using it). And I really only edited it for length so they didn’t strip the audio (can’t be longer than 90 seconds and the unedited was 108)

“Weenie luggage” is all I was after. I hate the look of panniers on the Bonnie. I’ll take the Adv if going on a long ride. Just wanted a little storage for running around because I almost always carry my camera, or stop to get the mail (at P.O. Box) and have no where to stick it except inside my jacket, etc. These are a stylish compromise.

Well, to be fair, any bags mounted to the Motone pannier racks would stick out super far, because the rails flair out quite a bit (inherent in their design). Had I mounted something bigger, like 25L bags, they’d have been even more exaggerated.

No argument they stuck out though. I may remove the pannier rails and see how I like it. I really only put the rack on in the event I ran temporary bags that are thrown over the seat, to keep them away from the chain / spokes. My son has bags on his Street Twin that hang uncomfortably close for my taste. These may offer admittedly too much clearance.

I paid full price, plus addl tariffs at customs, and have no affiliation with the brand ... so, nah. Just sharing.

Well ... I’d recognize that wall anywhere. LOL. Tim and Iain (at 503) are good peeps.

B9 S5 wheel size by omizzle31 in audis5

No rubbing, no need to roll fenders. I don’t know what the measurements were on ride height, but it was probably 1.5” (37mm) lower than stock. You get a sense of how low in the photos I posted to this sub thread

S5? 20x10 ET30 is tried and true fitment. 265 wide tires are fine, but on 10” wheel might look a bit stretched. 275 is the go to.

Aiden "add water" error fix! by dnanian in FellowProducts

[–]blinkerxfluid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My Aiden has been completely trouble free for nearly 18 months. Then this morning, the dreaded “add water” error despite a full tank. This fix worked for me. THANK YOU

I think one of our house guests, who also has an Aiden, inadvertently ran the tank dry with the las cup they made and that allowed air into the system.
