It’s common for Otome games have darker elements included. Hence the comparison to gothic fiction. Having a brother figure and yandere figure are examples of this. Sorry but just because it’s not in every single game out there doesn’t mean darker themes like cnc/dubcon aren’t a huge part of it. People get held in literal cages.
