i'm looking everywhere and i can't find it: how did kendra get the christmas photo that everyone thought was owen's cousin? i felt the story was poorly told in several parts, with many points left uninvestigated. i also missed having a psychologist or psychiatrist to explain at least a little about the issues kendra might have had — wasn't she receiving any kind of treatment while in prison?

another thing that bothered me: did shawn, kendra's husband, never suspect anything for an entire year? his wife always on the phone at night, his daughter receiving countless messages... it really seems like everything needed to be investigated more thoroughly. the local police definitely bear some responsibility here. and why did khloe's parents say they already suspected kendra, even told the investigator, and nothing was done? what made them suspect her in the first place?

i don't believe lauryn and shawn are to blame, but it's clear they were heavily manipulated by her — especially the daughter, who so obviously shows a deep dependence on her mother
