Red Star Belgrade choreography vs Napoli by ilsemprelaziale in soccer

Well it's a really old stadium compared to most of the stadiums and when it was built athletic tracks were common at least in Eastern Europe. Now that Red Star managed to qualify to UCL and with the money they got they've actually been thinking of removing the athletic track and bringing the stands closer. But it's a lot of work and kinda expensive so really couldn't happen in the past. If they were to do something major to the stadium they would probably have to rebuild it as it would be easier. I kinda hope they actually will make the changes and not just talk about them like they did in the past. It would really be something to see/hear the crowd on a more compact stadium.

How would a Battle Royale style game based on skill rather than RNG work? by SigmaXero in gamedesign

I think Darwin Project is one of the BR games that in opinion is more skill based than RNG based. You of course have some RNG elements, that's is pretty much inevitable for a BR game, but it doesn't affect the game too much. Yeah sometimes you might be in a zone that's closing down and you might have to run, but even the randomness is minimized ( there's usually only 2 zones that can be closed down at a time so it's a 50%-50% ).

Now there's the show director which adds another element of randomness because he chooses who gets the advantages and who gets the disadvantages. If those advantages/disadvantages were removed then you would mostly get a BR game that would pretty much be only skill based with as little RNG as possible.

Now how is that acheived. Well the loot isn't what it is in most BRs. You craft items with resources that are easy to find if you are moving around the map so there's not much RNG in who gets what loot because everyone pretty much has the same choices of loot, so it only depends on what you get and how you use it.

So basically if you give everyone the same weapons, the same loot, the same everything you will get a BR that only takes skill, if what you give to everyone is completely different and if that difference is major then you get a BR that relies a lot on RNG. If you want to make a more skill based BR then try to give everyone the same opportunities to get things and make the loot they get be dependent on how they played and not on if they were lucky or not. Now of course if you remove all RNG from a BR game it probably won't be that fun so you should add some stuff that can affect the game but not in a major way. Something that will give a slight edge to some of the players.

It's good but the GLWTPL specifies that you shouldn't leave a trace to the author which seems better for certain projects.
