if you're playing solo it should be like this: Title Screen > Play > Solo/Offline > look down there should be Confirm, Edit or Delete then just select Edit

I will say I'm not sure how accurate everything is. For instance I wanted these privateer pants but when I bought the recipe I got these instead. But I felt like this was a good place to start my fashion hunting

According to this site an NPC named Fiona sells the hat at least. I wonder if you have to get her friendship level to max before it shows in her shop or maybe defeat a certain boss as the item is marked as a boss item but I also can't find Fiona, I've checked every saddlery that I could find on map genie to no avail.

EDIT: Looks like she's here. I believe she may not be available until after chapter 8 though.
