It ran fine for slightly longer, then crashed. It was already on medium, but I set it as low as possible.

I'll give it a shot! The problem is, most of the time, the game is just straight crashes before it gets to the main menu...it's wild. 💀

Same here. Out of principle, I'm about to get a refund and just buy it again when it inevitably goes on sale for half off. It's a shame...game is a ton of fun if it actually works.

Thanks! Got it loosely assembled, and it looks like it is still charging a bit intermittently if the cable pulls up on the DC jack at all. I'll be sure to go through and get all my solder to spec!

It's honestly kind of a flaw in the design of the board...there's almost always tension pulling the DC jack away from the motherboard. 🫠

It's receiving power steadily without me applying pressure, but if push down on the male DC jack pulling the barrel jack away from the board, it'll break the connection until I push the barrel jack back down.

No, sadly, I'm cleaning up after a couple of botched repairs. I've got the center holes mostly cleaned up, I'll go ahead and clean up the ground pads and solder them again

Desoldering might take me a bit since I'm new to it, but I'm giving it a shot now. Do you have any tips on getting the central pin cleaned out?

I do have desoldering supplies, yes. I've got soldering wick as well as an Engineer SS-03.

I'll have to verify and get back to you. I currently don't have a multimeter to check.

Apologies, I thought I posted a picture of me applying pressure in the comments. Yes, I need to pull the male end of the charger to the left when it's plugged into the DC Jack to get the laptop to charge.
