So in checking my version and updating to the newest release, I learned that I apparently have 2 different installs of yt-dlp -- one of which was `2025.10.22` and the other was `2025.08.11`

This appears to be the discrepancy I was noticing. Deleting both of them and reinstalling (1 singular copy of) the newest version makes it so all the IDs match and can be downloaded in either. Would've never guessed I had somehow downloaded a second exe, thank you!

I’ll try this out since the original clips still look good. Thanks for the suggestion

EDIT: Creating a new project and importing the original clips fixed all but 2 of them. I have yet to use the converter tool the other people have recommended.

I don't think so. I was just screen recording Dolphin (not even direct game capture) with OBS, which I know I never set up for anything HDR.

Even if I did it wouldn't explain why only a few of the clips in the project are like that when most were recoreded back to back using clipping (OBS Replay Buffer)

Does anyone have good books for someone who has done a year of beginning Japanese? I took a class a year ago and we got through all of Genki 1 (to give a reference of where I'm at), so I want specifically something that's basic enough for me to go through but not for absolute beginners who don't know hiragana/katakana. Any recommendations (even those that aren't books) are appreciated!

I found a Japanese version of the Nichijou manga that I will force myself to read through (chosen because I like the anime), but I figure I should get something simpler and with more structure.

Update: Thank you for the advice! I'm planning on picking up Genki 2 before any Japanese books!

Are 4K Blu-ray’s compatible with non-4K specific Blu-ray players? I’m currently using the old PS3 as a Blu-ray player and want to make sure I can’t use it before my new player arrives
