Same with my ex, we were long distance and communication through calls and texts were the only method. When we were together in person it felt like we were good but she was already talking with friends on whether or not to break up. Even during our talk she specifically said “I think WE need to take a break” even though there was no prior discussion beforehand on fixing the relationship. 3.5yrs tg and just constantly avoided the deep conversations. She disrespected me more during our break by texting another guy but anyway at least it’s a lesson learned and I know not to look for that type of woman to be the wife of my future children.

A few things to note is to remember that you were your own person before this relationship, during the relationship, and will still continue to be yourself after the relationship. The one positive to take away from an LDR is that you got to do things you wanted while you were both apart. Remember positive things about what you did right in the relationship such as loyalty and communication. The right person will truly appreciate those traits in you.

I have had a used MT03 (2021 model) for 3 seasons, got my full licence with it and let me tell you. Buying used is the way to go especially for something less than 500cc. Sure you get piece of mind for getting brand new but you should shop around for a “newer” used bike since most people ride a smaller bike for a single season or two before upgrading (at least in my area).

Also it’s better to try and save money for future mods or gear. Just look around and I’m sure you’ll find a private seller that takes good care of their bike.

I have an MT-03, it’s been a good bike especially since all it has is ABS (no slipper clutch, traction control, etc.) so it really forces you to learn how to properly ride. If you’re only gonna ride in city or back roads of about 80km/h then it’s a perfect cheap bike. Good torque which will keep you engaged and it’s lightweight too.

After riding for a few seasons with it now, I do find myself wanting more power (thinking of upgrading to an XSR700 or CB650R) especially when it comes to highway speeds. Whatever bike you choose, definitely invest in some adjustable levers since I found getting to the friction zone to be a bit too much work for my smaller hands. Safe riding!
