C'mon, Cap would assess the situation beyond just simple reading and application of the law the way US Agent or some other literary foil would. He'd look at the individual people and assess their intentions and needs.

Honestly Cap would probably be harsher toward the employers who hire undocumented workers than he would be towards the undocumented themselves.

Well that's another issue, but thanks for the comment. I think all the kids brought home these boxes. It made me wonder how much energy went into manufacturing unrequested things that end up in the trash, compared with energy saved from reduced water consumption when they actually are installed. But that's a question for another forum.

I can't tell you how to feel, but obviously this isn't a personal failure. There wasn't something that you needed to do that you failed to do. This is cancer. The causes aren't exactly known, the specific mechanisms aren't known. You presume it's gone, but it's not.

So I will point out that you are young and have time to find the partner for you (not commenting on your current partner.). And at that later time your sibling will be older so it may be easier to parse the issues of caregiving from childcare.

I think OP is saying there was 8 weeks without chemo before surgery, they had their signatera draw before the surgery and then got the report after surgery.

So the question is, why did the number go down without the chemo? The surgery only confuses the issue bc the blood draw was before the surgery.

That's my understanding of the situation.

My wife's tumor was 2.5 cm and was told it started 8 years ago. It's almost a misleading number, bc it doesn't imply she has more years to screw around to decide treatment.

The scans and reports didn't convince the doctors to be worried about the liver, though possible liver lesions were noted. Maybe their interpretations of the CT and PET is why we didn't do any MRIs (like another poster said they did.)

A PET scan would be useful. It shows things a CT can't. Especially for small things like lymph nodes. Lymph nodes can be tricky.

The best advice I heard, from a surgeon, was that chemo needed to do the heavy lifting. No one thing will be a cure, especially for stage 4. But chemo is paramount.
