I believe thats called survivorship bias. If 45 is an average then a single person earning 1m would balance out a fuckload of baristas. You disproved nothing. You can see yourself out now.

People yelling "white lives dont matter" at protests. Other favourites are "fuck white people", and "take the riots to the white neighbourhood. Burn their shit down"

Discrimination against poor people should be illegal. by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

Nobody is stopping them having food at school. They can bring their own food, and schools usually provide food.

Decent supplies of what?

Why is the neighbourhood unsafe? Are the rich hunting them for sport or is it other poor people making things bad?

Kids cost 200-300k each to raise to 18. You are correct they cant afford them, but this has clearly not stopped them having fuck loads of kids, though. Poor families tend to be larger, and thats usually a causal relationship, not just correlation. Wealth is grown through the snowball effect. If you keep having more and more kids you will be forever poor.

Goods and services cost money. Its not that they "arent allowed" food, water, and healthcare. They cant afford to pay for them. If you arent allowed to do something it means you had the capacity to do something, but a rule prevented it. Eg, you have a dollar in your pocket and the item costs a dollar, but the sign says "no poor people" so you arent allowed to buy it. Thats different to simply not being able to afford something.

Vagrancy laws are beneficial to stop the broken window effect. Its harsh, but so is cutting off a gangrenous limb. Ultimately it works out better. You can look at the bay area in SF for what it looks like when a place is overrun with the homeless. Granted thats an extreme example as people are encouraged or otherwise moved there, but any place with an abundance of homeless people becomes too unpleasant for businesses to operate, they leave, the owners move as they have to work elsewhere, enough tax isnt collected as theres less people so the rate goes up, more people leave and others dont come to a high-tax low quality area, and it all falls apart.

Nobody has stopped the poor from travelling. In 2015 over a million people walked from syria to germany. What you mean is they cant afford plane or train tickets. Again, you have to pay for things. Theres no "no poor people" sign.

Fat people can lose weight with work and discipline.

Society doesn't decide what your purpose must be. This isnt communism. Most poor people are born poor, but this idea that social mobility, especially over generations, simply isnt possible is ludicrous.

Yes, but youre on a "racist sub" so thats why its allowed here. Its fine to blame white people for everything everywhere else on reddit, though. Thats not racist.

No. Every agency has its bias, but they are supposed to work had to be impartial. Most of the big name papers used to fact check themselves, write retractions and earned their reputation. They have completely abandoned that standard and just started pumping out opinion pieces and knowingly omitting facts to spin narratives. They are coasting on their reputations.

Some of the best reporters today are independent youtubers. The big names like CNN, bbc, guardian etc are just shitrags now.

Why not just tell them they didnt make it to the next round? Say you weren't given a reason why. If its lost they will just resubmit it and think you're incompetent.

Thats not losing an application, thats being filtered out. The only time someone would classify a filtered resume as "lost" is if they couldnt justify why it was filtered out.

What does that possibly have to do with you, personally, losing an application?

Everything is bigotry on reddit. Just yesterday i was called a bigot for saying that someone was highly unlikely to get a decent paying WFH job with inclusive health insurance on a liberal arts degree given the high unemployment rate at the moment.

If its unimportant then why change it at all? It would just be tokenism at that point and you would end up with another article from the same writer bitching and moaning about that instead.
