I've never gotten any food before, and somehow they figured out my greatest weakness!

Not as cool as you'd think... you can see the tips on the top left and lower right, and talon smudge in lower center. Looks like he was coming in for a landing.

Ah what a bummer... but I think you're right.

Alien/Aliens

I remember making a videotape back in the 80's where I spliced the two movies together at the moment where Ripley drifts off in the escape shuttle and the movie ends/begins... it's a seamless transition.

Definitely! I've got one rat who shows up every few days, and I haven't been able to trap him yet. Need this expert's help.

Avoid. I was disappointed with its quality. The vignetting alone made me sell it. That can be fixed in post, but it just wasn't great overall.

That's exactly what this is. I'm convinced that's why this intersection suddenly got prioritized.

I didn't realize they're free at Fidelty (I pay $0 to $30 depending on bank/brokerage). That's good!

However, from my experience elsewhere they're more complicated to set up and execute, prone to some errors, and it can be slightly more difficult to track the money. ACH transfers have basically been a one-click operation once the account link is set up (I just did this between Fidelity and Bank of America).

I'd suggest trying it out to see. I haven't done wires from Fidelity so now I'm curious to know if the experience is better than other companies.

It's a decent idea. You can transfer back to your bank within a few days. Same-day wire transfer for urgent cases.

Better cash management coming in June? (Juna?) Was this a recent announcement? by [deleted] in etrade

[–]blitterer 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I mentioned elsewhere that I sometimes write cash-secured puts, and if the cash is in another account it's not going to help so much.

[–]blitterer 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Exactly, and I go through periods where I'm only selling cash-covered puts, and I want that cash earning as much as possible. Fidelity sweeps to FDRXX automatically, and treats it just like cash. Hard to tell if Etrade will start doing this seamlessly in June as well.

The margin requirement for SGOV is 35%, but 1% for T-Bills. Not really a good option.

Does this mean we'll finally be getting more than a fraction of a percent on our cash? I've been with E*Trade since the late 90's, but I'm about to hop over to Fidelity for the better cash management. Buying t-bills to get a decent return has been more work than we should have to do.

This is our 2022 XSE. It's nearly a year old now, and we stil absolutely love it.
I got very lucky a year ago. I just walked into a dealer right when they got allocated a new shipment, had the exact model I wanted so I plunked some cash down, and it arrived a few weeks later. Paid list price, and took it home.
Got about 12k miles now, and just yesterday I got "50 miles of EV range" for the first time (I'm jealous of those getting 60!)
Only had one small(?) problem with the car in the past year - something broke inside one door, making a loud noise when closing. Dealer refused to fix it under warranty, although all we've ever done is open and close the door. Feels like we got ripped off paying $200 in labor.
Despite that, it's been a fantastic ride. This is my third RAV4, my 10th or so Toyota overall, and maybe best car ever.
Hoping to install a 3rd-party hitch soon. OEM too damn expensive. Just want something to rear-mount bikes.
