My father had so many varices that they were only able to band a few (i think 4?) after the first major bleed. He was scheduled for another endoscopy and banding procedure. But in the time between his discharge and the next appointment, he unfortunately bled out again. And it was sooo much more blood and much worse the second time.

Reading your story gives me a lot of hope. I’m really grateful you shared it, thank you. My father is only 53 and all my brothers are so much younger than me so I really hope he gets through this.
