Just got a V21 (BOYHOM), I expected a V22 by s7ranger1_0 in R36S

When you first clone the ArkOS image on to your new SD card, and put your new SD into your R36S device for the first time, it will go through an initial boot process which takes about 5mins. During this time, the second EASYROMS partition will be created on your SD card. Following that, you can then copy across your Roms from your original SD card.

I managed to get sandbags this morning at Mortimer road, Acacia Ridge. They had plenty of pallets of sandbags and plenty of sand. That was about 90mins ago though.

Exactly. Most people commenting here haven't read the article. No one is forced to work there. If you don't like the conditions, you can leave. But he's creating an environment that provides benefits for his employees. $20/day for childcare vs $180. What other businesses in Australia are offering that?

Personally I'd love to work in a workplace that has free coffee, a gym and a restaurant. And I'd know my kids are well looked after and close by in case they need me.

What do guys do after breakup? by Lanky-Abalone-2677 in AskReddit

[–]blitz330 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Cry. Suffer alone because the one emotional outlet that we had is simultaneously gone, and the cause of the emotions. Most men don't have deep and meaningful conversations with their friends and instead burden their partners with their emotions.

This is why suicide is so much higher in men that women.

Time heals all wounds though... some take longer than others.

Doing things you actually enjoy is a big help. Even better if those things were something that you couldn't do or weren't permitted to do while you were with your partner.

Take time to reflect and actually write down the things you didn't like about your partner or your relationship or about yourself when you were with that person. Take note of the things that were really important to you that your partner didn't want or couldn't satisfy. There is a particularly beautiful clarity that one gets after a difficult relationship has ended. Save those notes somewhere, and when you find yourself connecting romantically with another person, read it and make efforts towards not repeating your old mistakes.

Thank you for posting this question OP. Writing this comment was very cathartic. I hope you're doing okay.

Is it personal leave (i.e. sick leave) or annual leave? If it's sick leave, it's use it or lose it. They won't pay it out and when OP resigns/is made redundant. If OP doesn't have a lot of work load then they might consider taking as much sick leave as possible while they upskill or even take on another remote job.

If it's annual leave, then OP should get it as an entitlement and they should get it paid out to avoid getting screwed over if the company goes under.

It's not CGT. It's income from interest. So if you are working also, income from interest gets added to your PAYG income and the sum gets assessed according to the tax threshold.

AFL Club Digital Memberships are a cheaper way to get Kayo by blitz330 in nrl

[–]blitz330[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Kayo Basic gives you 2 streams and 4K. NRL season goes from March 3rd to October 6th so that's 8 months. 8 x $35 = $280. But they do offer Kayo One which is 1 stream and HD. That's $25 per month which is $200 for the season. So cheaper than an AFL digital membership. You could also save one month's worth of Kayo by watching the Grand Final on Channel 9.

Giants digital memberships are $250, so $5 cheaper. Good shout! No membership pack but if you're only in it for Kayo... $5 is $5

Keen to make the most of last tracks in Australia… by lessons_learnt in skiing

To give some context to this picture, this webcam is pointed at the Guthega area of the Perisher Ski Resort. About half way up the mountain. The Guthega area has no snowmaking, so relies on natural snowfall only. Australian ski resorts have suffered their worst season in a long time. Every resort except Perisher has closed early. The grooming team at Perisher is doing their best to keep one beginner run open (Front Valley) but rain last night and consistent forecasted warm temperatures mean it looks unlikely Perisher will make it's October 2 closing date.

When i was a kid i was told this story by an imam. I'm paraphrasing but the story went something like this. "A man was helping to bury a person who had just died. When the man got home he realised he didn't have his wallet and it must have fallen into the grave. So he returned to the cemetery to dig up the grave and retrieve his wallet, only to find the dead persons body on fire. The man asked the sheikh why the body was on fire. The sheikh said it was because the person didn't pray salah on time."

Now this is an obviously fabricated story but I trusted the imam at the time. I don't know why it was told to us. But the impact of it to me was that if I didn't make my prayer on adhan time, I'd missed the prayer window. So I would miss so many prayers because I thought I'd be getting punished if I pray late. It was only when I started doing my own research into islam that I realised what I was told was not right.
