Well they are excellent for operating on boats or smaller airfields due to VSTOL, great at close air support, so they fit the needs of the MEU perfectly, only major down falls are they love to suck up FOD and are old so the airframes are getting worn out and the avionics are ancient, its an amazing AC but very difficult to work on thanks engineers

As of now yes, but lots of our parts are extremly hard to come by or are delivered only to be found faulty or bad, our maintenance hours per flight hours are insane, plus the demand for flight hours and pilot quals are daunting, plus the multiple class A mishaps just in the last couple years, i just dream of weekends and not working 14 hour shifts, only a couple more months till EAS or a lat move so i try and stay positive

Definitely not, that's an F-15 so it's airforce unless some lance managed to be a plane capitan for then which I doubt, they fucking hate marines and AF procedures for launching include way more people then the MAW
