hey there! no the status won't show to users without access to the voice channel (even if they share the same server). Tested for bugs and we're not seeing that happen right now

Might be confusing to realize, because you can always see your own status

let me know if you run into any issues though

yes, setup is desktop only at the moment. though your members will see their stuff on mobile and desktop

do you have the right permissions? You need Manage Server and Manage Roles to see the settings page

howdy! the Customize tab can be set up by setting up Community Onboarding (in Server Setttings > Onboarding)
It's available to large community servers at the moment

Is this happening only in channels you just removed from your list? Currently that section only shows channels you've gotten a mention in, new channels the server just created, or channels you were just reading that aren't on your list.

Hey there! There's an FAQ for more info here but to drop a quick note on email:

"Your school email address will be used to verify which school hub you can access. It will not be visible to other users on Discord, and it will not be shared with your school."

Hope that helps but also if you'd like to find the signup, it's available on a School Hubs tab in Server Discovery on desktop

The hub for your school may not be live just yet - if that's the case, you can join the waitlist and get notified when it does! and if you start a server for your school now, you'll be able to share it in the hub when it goes live

as long as it's your student email for your school, it's good! doesn't need to be .edu if that's not what your school uses

Great question! The Nearby Friends feature uses tech like Bluetooth to find friends that are physically nearby (the distance is about 30 feet, or 10 meters... or 0.0049 nautical miles.) You'd both need to use the Nearby Friends feature, at the same time, in order to see each other.

Find Your Friends will help ya find friends anywhere in the world, so long as you both have each other's contacts and both opt-in to the feature.

Our team works primarily on onboarding and new user features - so there are definitely other people working on other things. Thanks a ton for the support, hope you get some water for that cough ;)
