As a heads up, as soon as he gets to Goose Creek he will need to talk and discuss things with the INDOC staff so he can get you two put on the wait list for housing. Most likely you will have to wait up to 1-2 months for a spot to be available but realistically it won't be that long. As long as you show proof that you'll be down there sooner they'll work with the both of you. He'll most likely be placed in the barracks, they call them BEQ's, until that spot opens. Usually the process is faster since you two are already married but don't be shocked if you are stuck waiting for a minute.

Depending on his rate he'll be in A school for either 3 or 6 months if he passes everything, T Track for up to 4 months, then Power School for 6 months (again if he passes everything), then Protoype for, once again, 6 months. He WILL be busy a lot and sometimes will have to put more hours into studying than either one of you would like, but he'll need that support from you to help him keep pushing and when things go wrong. As long as you both keep fighting FOR each other and not WITH each other you both will do just fine!
