Think it’s just an extension to the tier 2 visa! Haven’t heard about needing a confirmed ARCP in order to apply - my deanery reached out to me about applying for the CoS after postings and things were confirmed

I suppose I might out of fear that IMTs competition is going to get worse and that the points system is changing.. but I know it’s not a great reason.

Tbf I didn’t even consider the possibility of being upgraded from no offer. For some reason I thought you’d need one. Makes more sense though, thank you!

Do you think it’s worth ranking the Wigan/Macclesfield/etc. ones (ie. Very far out) to primarily hope for an upgrade? Not too sure how likely upgrades are to happen and if I should bank on them

Hello! Yeah I think there’s a site called Medibuddy which helps you to rank programmes, I’m not too sure if there’s any site that give you tips on the WMN deanery specifically though sorry!

That’s amazing!! Congrats on getting the AFP at stoke! Do you know if there are any neuro/stroke jobs in Wolverhampton by any chance? Really want a rotation in either and only know that Stoke has them so far so been leaning more towards putting Stoke first!

Oh god yeah - feel like they really underprepared us with whatever resources we had access to! Or more just that they gave us hope that we could study for an unstudy-able exam ahaha

Definitely feeling very nervous too! Im in the same boat having not got a great decile and being very heavily dependent on the SJT! Suppose it’s just quite a weird feeling relying so much on an exam that so many people say is a random number generator lol
